These are the chips I purchased recently from dealers in Cape Girardeau, MO. Several were very knowledgeable about the numerous illegal clubs that used to be in the area. Many are identified in the Gaming Table or Hertels guide, several are not. But that is the reason for posting them all together since they were purchased together. The USA chips I have to do a little more research on, Club 18 was positively ID'ed by one of the locals as being a Cairo club. The Turf Club, Frog City and State Line Country Club are Id'ed in TGT but only the $5 Frog city is shown in Hertels guide. Does anyone else have these other 3 chips? The WH / HM ( ???) chip is listed as UFC in TGT but again I believe that it belongs to a place in the Cairo area. The two Thunderbird chips are known previously as are the two Colony Club. Here is where it gets interesting. I also have a brown diamond mold Colony Club chip (not shown in the scan) that is not identified anywhere. Does anyone have one of these? The JD S-mold chip is ID'ed in TGT as also from Cairo, IL. Notice that the Harp mold version has almost the same font and color. I almost missed the different molds when I got these. Does anyone have the Harp mold JD chip? The Star and $1 horseshoe mold chips I already have but am still wondering if these were generics or maybe made for another club in the Cairo area??
