Most special events (ie tournys where the hosting casino has to make special arrangements to cater for it) cost way more $$ than the $30 a head we are talking about.

Would you pay $100+$20 for a 75 minute sit-and-go?
Would you pay $100+$15 for a 45 minute turbo?
Those are the norm. Compare that to the +$30 for a 4 to 5 hour tournament and I assure you we have a good deal.

Even when you compare to 'scheduled' regular tournys in Vegas. A typical tourny for 150 people might be $500 (or $1000)+$50 buy-in. Thats $50 per head to the casino. You wouldn't bat an eyelid because that $50 is only 5% or 10%. Its not the percentage that matters. The tourny lasts the same length of time whether it is $100 or $1000 buy-in grin
