who stiffed the waitress (and more than likely risked arrest)than who stepped up and paid the bill. While paying the bill is extroidinary, it's more in line with what I would expect club members to do. Additionally, someone good enough to "make it right" wouldn't do it for the positive publicity. They'd do it simply because they didn't want to see an innocent server work for nothing that night.
Can anyone truly believe that there is someone naive enough to think that $100 worth of drinks in a restaurant didn't need to be paid for?
I don't buy it for a second.
