The place is still a cash cow and really is the only strip casino left that still accommodates and encourages families with children to come on down. While there might not need to be more than one (see recent changes at Excal and TI), there probably still should be at least one, and none of the new construction would cater to this market like the CC does. Just my opinion: closing and destroying it would be a mistake. ...even taking out the manor rooms and RV park for a wrap-around extension of City Center would be a bad move. Melding or incorporating the existing unique market that CC draws into new construction would be a much better move. ...but I'm a hundredaire, not a billionaire, so I won't be making those decisions.
