This is one of those chips that have a very wide value spread between Average condition and New condition. Remember these chips were still in use in Reno only a few years ago (5?). A new one is almost never seen and probably would be worth 10 times a much as a worn one off the tables. There are also varieties of the metal inlay, although not much information as to whether any one variety is scarcer.
