I remember playing blackjack in the late '70s at the Delta Saloon near the Bucket of Blood. They had a $2 maximum bet at the one table that was open and used mostly tokens, not chips. There wasn't much call to pay out in $5 or higher chips. Virginia City is definitely worth seeing if you're looking for a great day trip while visiting Tahoe or Reno.
