Due diligence in this hobby is difficult if not almost impossible. Where do you expect them to look? There are not books or websites or lists anywhere to tell them this information! Suppose a new collector gets into the hobby 6 months ago, they would have no idea about this chip after looking in both old books. Praying to the chip gods for deliverance would be more successful.
