The problem is you can change the complete meaning of a sentence many times depending on which word you inflect or where you place a pause or what context the sentence was spoken in. Generally, people with strong party dispositions and those who just like to stir the pot, will jump all over both sides of such an issue. This is one of those issues.

On the down side, now we won't have one of our pointless 237 post political volleyball tournaments!
