I agree that in the past slight differences rated different codes. Dale is running out of codes. Soon there'll be codes like IO-OZa, IO-OZb, etc.

It is not my knowledge. When you see a code on my website, Kenny as given it his blessing. As I mentioned, I think I found the chips (the one in Dale's book was probably from a scan sent to him). If the scan did not show color Dale would show a natural border. The brown on the IO-OZ is quite light. I would wager that Dale wasn't sure there was color from the scan and showed a natural border in the book.

Kenny and I have discussed the fact that at some point a new book will have to be produced. Besides the tons of new codes, there are several mistakes in the book. Kenny pointed out one chip with 3 different codes.

Can you imagine a color book. Quite expensive.
