Speaking from "my cave" ...
David; Did any of these sellers who puported to have the aquamarine PB chips provide you with scans ... or were they the usual lousy images taken from a cell phone photo?
I've inquired about these chips as well and I'm not convinced that any of them were the aquamarine variation as pictured and described in my A.C. catalog. In addition, the aquamarine chip that I know about is the same color on both sides. I've seen specimens that were puported to be "aquamarine" that may have been a greenish blue on one side, but blue on the other side.
The response; "They have been sold" ... may very well be true. But were they truly the aquamarine variations? If anyone on this message board has purchased these chips... please post a quality scan.
