The amount of Greed shown by some eBay sellers is

simply amazing.

Do some of these people have no ethics or morals whatsoever?

I am astounded by the amount of people on Ebay hawking the Playboy chips as "Rare", "Very Rare" and "Impossible to Find". I keep seeing quotes from priceguides to back up thier ficticious stories.

Now before people start to jump on me for this comment by saying that maybe they didnt realize there was a find or they are only quoting printed book values, consider this.

90%+ of Ebay sellers selling these chips are listed in Mississippi. They are fully aware of the find, how many were found and that this is no longer a "Rare" chip.

To me that is pure and simple greed when a listing is made knowing full well it is untruthful.

The ONLY intent of such a listing is to defraud potential sellers an in many cases will end up with a negetive impact on our hobby. The most amazing thing is that the vast majority of those trying to rip people off are not even collectors themselves.

Now I dont care what religion you follow, but in my book, what is being done daily on Ebay is unethical and imoral. I sincerely hope that what goes around, comes around and these people finally understand what they are doing is wrong.

Just one mans humble opinion.
