At least if chips go out of style, (1) there will be a finite number for us to complete our collections and (2) there's a chance canceled chips would flood the market at affordable prices. Obviosuly, it's exciting to have new chips released from time to time, and having chips on the tables brings new collectors to the hobby. But I think there will still be collectors, we'll just be known as antique collectors!
