With the popularity of TITO machines killing casino tokens I keep wondering if chips are not next. What is to stop the casinos from simply putting your credits on your slot card (the same as with the new electronic poker tables) thus eliminating the need for chips at all? They could even go the all electronic route (like the new roulette and video BJ tables at some casinos) and issue a standard TITO when you leave.
