Update on my "Angel",,,,
Well, We got to Western Baptist Hospital @ 8:30a.m. this morning and they did all the paper work and checked us in and got her in a room. They drew blood, checked all her vitals,,,, etc. the normal things. We sat there for hours waiting and the nurse kept coming in and telling us the doctor had started his first surgery and that hers was scheduled for 11:00 a.m. This went on for a few more hours and then finally @ 3:45p.m. they come to take her upstairs to the prep room. A nurse came in and said she would be getting Tonya ready for her surgery. A few minutes later a man come into the room and said that the Dr. was finishing up with the surgery and by the time he got done and they got her ready to operate it would be at least 5:00 and asked if we would care to come back on Monday @ 12:00 and them do the surgery @ 3:00p.m.!!!!!!! I am ready to give up!!!! I am thankful he didn't start Tonya's surgery after being in another surgery that long. He said to expect Tonya's surgery to take 3 or 4 hours. Please pray that he will be fresh Monday and everything goes a little better. He sees patients Monday morning and so Tonya is scheduled to be his first surgery. My Dad always told me everything happens for a reason. I truly believe that. Thank you all so very much for your wonderful words and your thoughts and prayers. You all will never know what you all mean to my wife & I. I think after this day,,,,,,, I am going to have a Bud-Light. lol Thank you all again and have a great night, Mark
