$1 Shuffles, FL chip variation new release

Well, new to me anyway. After a dozen or so trips to Shuffles poker room in Ebro, FL, I found that they have 2 variations of $1 chips. It's the same difference previously reported on their $5 chips. One has a purple ring and the other a blue ring. The scanner didn't pick up the colors as well as you'd see it in person. In person you can pick out the purple and blue chips at arms length easily. I also noticed that both side are different (missed that before).

Here are the 2 chips side by side with the purple on the left and the blue on the right:

Now here is a close up of the outer rings with the purple on the left and the blue on the right:

And if you hadn't noticed the different text on the backs here they are:

I know, minor color differences, but like their $5 chips they have these purple and blue varieties. The letter S also is a little different it seems. I looked through stacks of chips over the 8 hours I was there yesterday and I'd say 70% were of the purple variety and 30% were of the blue variety. I had a blue in my collection already, so I grabbed a purple for myself.

I have 5 extra purples and 4 extra blues available for trade. They're all worn but these 10 were the best condition I could find across 8 hours of play. E-mail me if you need one. grin
