As you've noticed, many of us have these chips in our collections and have paid well for them; and several of us have inventory which is used to sell/trade for other rare chips...
Will your group consider the following:
Assuming you build 500-piece home poker chip sets with the $1, $5, $25; $100 and $500 chips; would you think about marking (having marked) the units with some type of embossing/counterstamping or a pindot-drillhole so your inventory can be distinguished from ours...?
We've asked similar of those who alter/repair actual casino chips that have been cancelled by casinos, but as far as I know, they have declined our suggestion.
