Generally speaking John ...

... in my opinion, the majority of these sellers in Mississippi are not chip collectors, per se, but could be described as opportunists (no offense intended) and have no regard for condition. I'm sure many of these large lots being offered are comprised of mixed condition chips across the board. Have you seen the scan that Ricky Pushkin posted of the chips he received and the color variations? Looks like pretty nice condition chips to me ... especially the high values which were not used as frequently as the lower denominations.

Here's something to think about. While Playboy was considered to be an upscale property in A.C. during the years they were open and attracted many high rollers .... the highest denomination slot token in play was a lowly $1 token. Even Altantis, which followed Playboy, used $1 Playboy tokens and had no $1 tokens or higher of their own. Contrast that to slot machines of a couple of years ago (prior to "TITO" - Ticket In Ticket Out) where most all properties in A.C. had $5, $10, $25, $100 and yes even $500 slot tokens.
