The President in Biloxi was sold a few months before Katrina and was to be moved to Lakeshore, MS (Hancock County) to become the Silver Slipper. The Silver Slipper at Lakeshore was the first coastal casino to be built on land.The Casino Magic in Bay St Louis was not reopen and sold to become Hollywood, Grand Casino in Gulfport was not rebuilt, property with hotel sold to owners of the Copa, which is now Island View. Copa not to be rebuilt.
Treasure Bay Biloxi destroyed and rebuilt on land in hotel north of Highway 90, Grand Biloxi is currently in the hotel north of Highway 90, The Grand property on the beach with Casino magic Biloxi (destroyed) will in about 18-24 months will be replaced by Margaritaville casino. The Beau Rivage, Hard Rock, Isle of Capri, Palace, IP, and Boomtown renovated in remain in same location prior to Katrina. There are several other casinos in the planning stage I110 and I10 and Hwy 90 near Biloxi Bay known as Point Cadet across from Isle of Capri
