hey John, These things should be required of Club members. The BOD needs to put pressure on club members to help the organization where they can. I'm not familiar with the Club's structure because I've not really looked into it, but I am a co-founder of a NFP organization. The BOD need to define and enforce the mission. It also probably needs to have a paid Director with paid staff who are overseen by the Board if it doesn't have it. This way people are directly responsible for areas of operation. There can be numerous committees put together for different tasks. The most important of which is raising money. The club should have two fundraisers a year and a realistic obtainable vision. One year,three,five ten year plans with goals for each year. Will someone let me know what they need me to do. I have not heard from anyone from the organization as to how I help make it better.
