For several years Mirage would comp me limited RFB. About two years ago, they raised the minimum gambling required for limited rfb. Last year they only offered free room. I stayed at the Monte Carlo. Out of the blue, earlier this year I got an email from my Mirage host asking if there was anything he could do for me. I emailed him "How about limited RFB for 4 nights" His answer: "just tell me the nights".

I think comps will in crease in a down turn.
