Re: Are you a "George" or a "stiff" ??

Whenever I play blackjack, I do tend to tip the dealers. If it's been a bad run, they'll still get at least a couple of nickles ($5) or a quarter ($25) from me. When I've had really good runs, I've tipped the dealers as much as a tenth of the total take for the night... meaning if I made $2500 over five hours of play (don't laugh, I've done it often enough), I'll give the dealers $250. That's on top of what I might have placed out during play for the dealers. I do know that in some places the dealers barely make over minimum (which I think is what Mississippi is for most dealers) and the tips help augment their night's take.

And if I'm having fun, and keeping the dealers amused (I've had dealers *like* seeing me show up at the table) it makes for a fun time.
