"Relieved to learn..." Definitly an interesting part of the history of the hobby. The chips and the man, Bill Borland. Don't be reluctant to collect these chips right along with anything else you like. Thanks to David and some of the other folks that help research this chapter of "chipology", we have come to know quite a bit more about Borland and his chips. Since I came aboard about 9 years ago, Borland chips have been exposed and some have even turned out to be legitimate casino pieces. At David's site, we have a resource to determine the likelyhood of origin and from that we can determine what we might value a Borland chip acquisition. Some folks consider his stuff bad news but he had many friends here too. The more you know about your chips the more you can enjoy the little guys.
