When I moved to Hillbilly Heaven (Knoxville, TN at the time)15 years ago people here told me that they didn't even know HOW to play poker much less have chips for sale or have ever gone into a casino (this still IS the Bible Belt). In fact, that is the main reason I started collecting dice, ashtrays, cards, etc - I would find them occasionally but no chips. Today I find an occasional chip or pair of dice but it is still very slim pickings. The larger flea markets are getting a little better but I can still do 250 miles of Hwy 127 Flea market each year and come up with only a few chips total.
