I am an eBay rat. I sell and buy, and monitor loads of auctions. I don't have numbers to prove it, but it feels like the number of "better" collectible chips is down. The amount of auctions I watch is down, and it is not because I am not looking as hard. Routine stuff is abundant, but the "good" stuff definitely seems down.

There was a bit of a dip in prices mid-level (chips that sell in the hundreds) chips were ending up at. I think maybe some folks are holding on to chips they otherwise would be selling. The real in demand, rare LV stuff still gets top dollar. The stuff a cut below.....there were some nice bargains to be had.

Again, no data to support these observations, just my feel for the current situation. Frankly I think everyday is a great day to buy a chip!
