"Premiere Props" sold a lot....
In Response To: I agree entirely ()

of the "real" prop chips in legitimate auctions. I would guess at least 50 of them. A lot of COAs out there. I sold some "Rounders" chips on eBay last year, and received a couple of emails from two different people asking if I would sell an original COA to replace:

(1) "the one my son tore up"
(2) "the one my wife threw out by accident"

Obviously I refused, but any chips I did sell I included a copy of the COA. Premiere Props sold most of the chips in lots. EXAMPLE: I purchased 10 x $25 chips from "KGBs". The prop house sent me a COA for all 10 chips, not individual COAs for each chip. I kept the original COA with the chips I kept. I sent a copy of the COA with the chips I sent. Most of the chips I sold were within the club, but I did sell some on eBay with the COA copy. It wouldn't be a stretch for someone with a copy to put that together with some of these chips and make a nice profit.

Be careful if you are looking to buy these chips on eBay.

To anyone who purchased "Rounders chips from me, I guarantee that I purchased them directly from the prop house (Premiere Props) that was authorized to sell them by the movie studio (Miramax). There was no middleman. If I sent you a copy of the COA, it was for the reasons stated above.
