There have been several posts on this board from Suzie Q (the midwest fun coordinator) regarding the Get together on April 13 in Crown Point, IN. For the geographically challenged, that is a Chicago suburb. The Chicagoland Chippers Gatherings (which this really is) are great fun.

There are always surprises for everybody, lots of trading, stories, plans for the convention (or stories from the last convention). I would really like to see a big turnout. Partly because it is my first opportunity to get away from home that isn’t a Dr appt, or some such dull piece of cr@p. I want us to be ‘gettin to chippin’. My last Chicago gathering was in Crown Point at David Kolenda’s house (THAT WAS ONE VERY FUN DAY ). I believe his spirit will be at this meeting, and he would love a real crowd.

I am told there will be games, prizes, I know there will be some cool chips. Get your taxes done early, and come to the Gathering. It is for more than just those in and near Chicago. I always hear talk about wanting to get together, here is the opportunity. Make a weekend of it, there are antique and second hand stores in the area, there are casinos nearby, and if others will be doing so, I will come in early so we can have some fun.
