Does anyone remember why we went to war?

Ir was not because Bush "Lied" to us like all those Bush haters will tell you.

How many of you remember when Sadam agreed to allow UN nuclear inspectors free access to Iraq as a resolution to halting the 1st Gulf War. Anyone remember that one?

Anyone remember what Sadam did when we asked him time and time again to allow the inspectors to do what he previously promised? He told us to go screw ourselves. What choice did our Governtment have? ... to sanction them and get laughed at.

Remember the Paper Tiger comments? In an interview with Sadam he was asked why he provoked America into a war and his answer was simply "He didnt think that the US would actually do it". In Sadam's mind the tree hugging liberals would never let this country do what was right and hold a potentially dangerous country like Iraq to what they had already committed to do.

Now on to the Bush lying to the country deal. Everyone is entitled to thier opinion, however my feelings are that Bush was told there were WMD's thru the US intellegence and he like everyone else on Capitol Hill believed them. Lets not forget that many people voted for the war including Hillary Clinton. Somehow she says she was misinformed, but I guess Bush doesnt get that same benefit of the doubt. How do we know that Bush didnt believe what he said 100% when he said it.

You want to talk about a president who lied, how about Bill who stood in front of millions of Americans with a straight face and told us all that he never had sex with Monica. All the time he knew full well he was getting regularly blown in the oval office. That my friends is an outright lie and not someone who may not have known all the facts.

Another point you try to make is How do we know Bush has protected us from attacks? - Are you kidding me? Do you now feel threatened? Have we had a terrorist attack on our soil since 911? How do you know Bush and the rest of our Government (Including the Democratic Congress) is Not defending and protecting us.

I send my check in for life insurance every year. I believe that this life insurance protects me in case of my untimely passing. However since I have not actually died, should I assume that this actually doesnt protect me? How do I know that it actually will pay? Some things you have to have faith in.

Now, please enlighten me on how Bush has caused you pain and anguish.
I would love to know how the Republicans have caused gas prices to rise, the Stock Market to fall and global warming. I need to know exactly what Bush did that you hate so much.

Sure he sometimes seems lost and never seems to say the right things. But what specifically has he done that has not been approved by a congress of another party that everyone hates him for?

I ask because I really want to know.
