DOn't know how common they are, but I had a Grey one. Genetic COndition known as "POLYDACTYLY". My Grey cat "Max" lived til he was about 22 and loved to wrap his fornt paws and legs around my arm and hold on tight. Bit of a problem when he used his claws, but other wise fine.
