2. I usually DO respect my elders. However, why should I respect my elders when they are still making a big stink about a done deal? Either be part of the solution, or be part of the problem. If you choose to be part of the problem, it's time to shut up. I could give a rat's ass at this point whether you are twice my age or half my age.
The endless bit¢hing and moaning needs to cease. Policy is policy.
3. Stay at the Riv, or don't. Fine by me. When we don't have convention space next year, don't expect me to be the one running around Vegas trying to find a new venue.
4. Either put up or shut up. I'm tired of this crap. From this point on, anyone who has a complaint should be advised that it is falling on obdurately deaf ears.
If the above sounds harsh, it is because it was meant to be. I didn't see a whole lot of people volunteering to take over as convention chair when the position became available. Pity. I've been busting my ass since last August trying to make sure this convention will be a reality, and have grown quite tired of reading all the nonsense. You don't like the way I run things? YOU...the one reading this post....VOLUNTEER for this position when it opens up again. Until that time, we are doing things my way, and I in turn am following the directives of the Board of Directors.
Cry ‘Havoc!’ and let slip the dogs of war!
