Technacally what Clinton did was immoral nor illegal
What Spitzae did was against several laws
The way I look at it, it is the exact opposite:
¶ Clinton broke the law. Clinton perjured himself, and was also charged with obstruction of justice.. He was being sued by Paula Jones, who in her lawsuit referred to Monica Lewinsky somehow. Anyway, Clinton lied in his testimony. That is technically what the impeachment was about -- perjury, etc. He was "convicted" of that in the courts and was fined (I think) and lost his law license.
¶ whatever Spitzer did, it was something that virtually no one is ever brought to court for. The two laws in question didn't really concern him -- the Mann act about crossing state lines, and the money laundering thing. Both laws were intended and apply to doings (heads of major criminal operations) other than what he did.
