why do I persist in playing this hand?
Final table...bubble...short stack mid position is all in preflop. I reraise to isolate from the dealer position.Small blind goes all in,thinking(I assume anyway) that I was trying to steal. I call because I am pot committed now and the small blind has me covered in chips. All in guy turns over A-J and small blind turns over A-Q. I have A-K...great! Final board goes like this: 3-10-K(PERFECT!!).....9-J.
Small blind hits the runner runner straight, and once again....I am toast
I am 80% fave on the flop,at least 90% on the turn as one jack is gone.
Have lost with AK in 9 straight hands. Bet them hard,limp,raise preflop...I have tried it all. It is so bad that I even folded them in a tourney pre flop on Sunday.
This will end eventually right?
