Yep, we're all allowed an opinion and I stated mine. The convention has run just fine with Wednesday trade sessions as long as I've been attending. I don't agree with your assertion that the Wednesday trade sessions will bring down the show floor. Past experience dictates that it just isn't so!

This is a reason why I suggested on the club board that we do some surveys this year to determine what is important to the membership (and not just the dealers.) In fact, I'll put my money where my mouth is. I'll contact Mike & Dawn to help with this endeavor. The convention should be about all of us, not just some of us.

On a side note: I for one would gladly come to a convention without the show floor. I'm more interested in getting to meet some of my fellow chippers that I haven't met and getting together with my friends that I don't see but when we're all together. Granted, I do a lot of that on the show floor, but I also do it at the Chipboard get together, the tournaments, the Splahbar, the auction, etc...
