A pilot has to know the "number of souls aboard" before take-off and sometimes the flight attendants count is over by one and when asked about the 'extra' that is not showing on the pilots list the flight attendant stomps their foot and says, "We got one in the hold, and smiles." That means one of the passengers is DEAD and is being transported. I always wonder if the plane crashed, would they be included in the body count?
