Please point out to me where anyone is being "Penalized".
If this incentive was not offered:
NO ONE would get a NCV chip
No ONE would get a $10 cupon for scrip
No One would be allowed into the show 1 hour early
There would be NO Raffle for those staying at the Riv.
These were all incentives developed to encourage people to stay at the host hotel.
Your logic is no different to the Riv offering comped rooms for its $100 a hand betters. Why penalize the $5 a hand bettors or those who choose to play at another casino. Just because I choose to play $5 a hand blackjack at Circus Circus doesnt mean my room at the Riv shouldnt be comped also. Who cares if thats an incentive plan to promote gaming at thier own casino.
Sounds pretty silly right? Its the same thing you suggest.
Those who choose to stay someone other than the Riv (Either by choice or affordability) get absolutely nothing less than what they would have otherwise gotten if there was no incentive. There is NO peanality for not staying at the Riv.
On the other hand, if you choose to stay there, we are offering an incentive, much like everyone else does to help compel people into doing what we need them to do.
This is my last post on the subject as it has been discussed at length many, many times.
If you still have a problem with that desision, I suggest you write myself or any of the other BOD members your issues and concerns and it will be taken into consideration at the next BOD meeting in June.
