Actually, it's a tough thing to assess and it is very easy to be affected by ones own bias. Some see error chips as if they were damaged chips. I would certainly be willing to pay $35 for the chip, but I think it has a bit more value. I've also learned that it is in new condition. I am not sure if James is a collector or not, which has importance as he is calling it new, and wven long time collectors have differing opinions about what is "new".
