Right now the housing market is way down in Vegas. BUT it is still moving strong in certain areas and neighborhoods. A lot of it is depending on the builders right now and the amt of inventory they have. The condo market is up a little. I guess, the main reason is because people either can't afford houses, lost their house to a foreclosure, or are looking for a vacation spot. Alot of the "condos" you will find out here are really condo conversions. They were once apt buildings and the owner sold out. Got a fresh coat of paint and are now condos. Which means, some of these places are 30 years old but look good. Some have been completely redone but some haven't. You really need to do your homework b4 buying a condo in this area (unless you are buying at MGM Signature, Turnberry, or City Center . Coming from an Electrician, especially know that the wiring and the plumbing are up to date and up to code.....And of course meet your neighbors!!
Good luck!!
