The round robin.....

I had the round robin returned to me so I could redo it. There were a quite a number of inferior chips put in and I needed to pull them out and replace them with chips meeting the near mint condition rule. People not only took decent chips and put in chips with quite a bit of table wear, but one chip I know of (Atlantic Maritime) the took a mint condition chip that had never even seen a table, and replaced it with one that was worn with bad nicks. To say the least, two words: Very Disappointing!

I also had to re write the instructions, that now require each participant to scan the sheet of chips both when they get them, and before they send them out. The scans must be of quality good enough to see detail of the chip condition. Originally, I had every other person scanning the chips, but that just wasn't good enough. Also the scans just didn't have enough detail to see the condition well enough.

I have been in and out of town on business quite a bit lately and haven't had time to deal with it right now, but I hope to have the round robin out to Butch Reynolds this week. I have moved Butch up in the list to move him away from other California collectors who basically have/need the same chips.
