I am no stranger to the use of places putting fund holds on my accounts...be they on debit cards or credit cards. I understand the need for it and have no problem with that. My issue stems soley from the inordinate amount of the hold they placed on my card, which I STILL could have lived with, had it not been SUBSTANTIALLY different from what they told me it would be.
That is what is different between this situation and every other fund hold I have ever had placed on my account.
Tell me what it is going to be, and I'll live with it, but don't tell me it will be $350 and then slap a $500 hold on there (actually it was $550).
That's all I'm sayin'...
