When is a $25 chip cheaper than an $8 one?

I was visiting the Rio in February last year and went to check if the cage had any Rio $8 Year of the Pig chips. I was hoping someone cashed one in and the cashier was waiting to sell it to me (Righhht, when pigs fly). grin I asked the cashier if she had any $8 Chinese New Year chips to sell. She said, "No, you'll have to get it from a host". Disappointed I turned to leave. The cashier shot out, "But we have $25 chips." I thought about this long and hard for about a half a second and asked if I could see it. She grabbed $25 in chips from her tray and went into the back. After about two minutes she returned and showed me the chip. I whipped out $25 in a flash. After she handed me the chip I gave her a $2 tip. And I cried "Whee Whee Whee" all the way home.
At that point in time the price of the Rio $8 Pig chip was skyrocketing on ebay so in essence this $25 chip was cheaper to purchase. vbg
