One thing I have noticed recently though, is that I've been receiving items that are inside a bank change envelope that is then taped to the inside of the mailing envelope. At least one has the chance that the item inside won't get separated from the addressed envelope and one can hope that the contents might also be returned with the damaged envelope from the USPS ...
