When I spent 3.5 weeks in Ghana the exchange rate was 1-1700. It was not easy for 18 of us to get to a bank or money changing place, so I changed money 100 dollars at at time. The wad of cash I got back from the exchage was too big to fit in my wallet and my money belt, it was rediculous. Of course my trip to Ghana is one of many I had made after I started collecting casino chips. We played in a casino in a fancy hotel in Kumasi.
