These fake "casino chips" are going to be a plague on the hobby for years to come in my opinion should they be released for collector consumption. I did not have the opportunity to read Mr. Drummonds message, but what did he say was the reason for their manufactuer ... if not to deceive collectors?
Unlike the Borlands (which have received their fair share of criticism) I remember Bill Borland's full page paid ad in the club magazine many years ago in which he announced why he issued these chips and told everybody in advance they were not real and was selling them to anyone who wanted them for $2 each.
