Are people so horrified by the statements they make that they feel the need to delete them shortly afterwords? Do you have multiple personalities, and the rational one only comes out after the bad one makes a mess?
If you believe the things you say, stand by them, if you don't believe the things you say (or realize you are full of sh*t shortly later) best not to submit the post.....

Wouldn't it just be easier to think a bit longer before making the statement on a widely read forum, then to post it (p*ss people off with your comments) and then delete it anyway ?
Or is that the idea ?
