Boycott won't do anything to change things at eBay. Their stock price is down considerably, their president has recently announced retirement, and the new management team is doing the right thing for the owners.
For the current chips and lower priced obsoletes, fixed price lists are probably the best for both buyer and seller. I'm seeing more of such on this BB recently, which is good.
In the interest of fair disclosure, I am an eBay stockholder, and am watching the recent company changes with some pain [g]. eBay has a good franchise, and has done marvelous things technically for the on-line auction concept. They may eventually have some serious competition, but anybody new in this business has a long tough learning cycle to get where eBay is today.
