Finalizing our trip to Las Vegas for the Nascar race in less than 2 weeks.......ah yes, 6 days of pure fun!!
Hopefully, the weather will be like last year....warm and sunny
Thanks to Ellen for the Seminole Nascar set - Darrell will be thrilled!

Check List:
Freezer full of goodies for the House sitter - check.
Nascar jackets set next to suitcases (nooooo, we don't use coolers and Walmart bags as suitcases!).
Jimmie Johnson jacket for Darrell and Kyle Busch for me - check.
Credit cards empty and ready to be loaded with tons of Nascar crap - radio headsets, Nascar pins, hats, T-shirts,etc
New memory card for camera, extra batteries too - check
Plastic sleeves to hang around your neck to hold tickets, dorky but essential - check
Sunscreen, long underwear (snow was possible in 2006), binoculars, hats, Palms bag (thanks Gene!) with coffee maker and accessories, chip guides and cheat sheets for a chip run - check, check, check

Now, we just have to wait 8 days to whoop it up with 75,000 other fans (the most polite and fun people I've ever met in Vegas, outside of the chippers) down on Fremont St - woooo, I can't wait!
