I was on the other side of the transaction, but was thankful for the patience of the sellers in two auctions. I entered my max bid on a Monday for auctions ending that night. I was in the emergency room at 10:00am the next morning getting ready for a 3 week adventure that included a triple by- pass and an oblation and having my chest cracked open twice. This was all before I finally got a chance to get someone to log onto my ebay account and email the sellers I was still interested, but will pay when I get out of the hospital. Basically they both waited at least 14 days after the auction ended to do anything until they heard from me.

So I think you may be right, but acted too quickly and too strongly before allowing time to provide more infor on the situation.
