My sister was a collector of barbie dolls, Ship items, silver and you name it. My mother collected stamps and dolls. My brother collects militaria focusing on civil war and guns. I believe gender has little to do with collecting. Our hobby is unique, not many women attracted to poker, gambling and saloons. Chips give us a chance to partake in casino activity without risking the farm. IMHO.
