I'm back from the S. F. Bay Area, and I have the chips that were ordered. I also got straightened out on their release date. The first two times there, I asked the cashiers for the information. I got answers like "A couple of months", and "Just a few months". The date on the flyer posted next to the cage is/was Oct. 18,2007, so I thought they were right.

This time I asked to speak to the Poker Room Floor Manager. He told me that the chips were issued July 18th, and the flyer was announcing the date they stopped accepting the old chips. He seemed surprised it was still posted, and said it should have been taken down long ago.

I'm very sorry about confusing everyone by announcing these chips were recently issued.
