Here is a chip that I believe is from the 50's. Nelle Ashby (nee Bannie) was the wife of George Ashby, who was the president of the Union Pacific Railroad.

Vegas residents may be aware that both Ashby Ave and Bannie Ave (about .5 miles apart) were named after this husband and wife.

The banner under the crest reads "Be just and fear not". It is inscribed on the Ashby tombstone.

The chip is one sided as are all of these chips.

This is what I call history, not the filth sometimes found on these old chips.
