You cannot encourage or solicit people to send cash through the mail - that violates one of eBay's safety rules. But you can accept cash in person.

My listings - which have not yet run afoul of eBay's rules - state "I accept cash in the following currencies . . ." but nowhere states that it can be mailed to me. You might try revising your listing accordingly.
